MISSIONARY MAIL: 16 October 1846 wrapper from Pioneer Wesleyan Missionary Rev.Walter Lawry at Auckland to the Mission Headquarters in London. On the front a red framed 'PAID AT AUCKLAND' and a red '8' showing eight pence paid by the sender and a ms '8' in black showing eight pence to be paid by the recipient. On the back a black boxed 'SHIP.LETTER PLYMOUTH', a double arc 'NEW ZEALAND OCT 16 1846 and a red single ring FE 20 1847 arrival stamp.
