A George I walnut bureau, early 18th century and later; the rectangular top above a sloping fall front which opens to reveal a fitted interior of small drawers, pigeon holes and a well with a sliding cover, a moulded edge above the base with two short and two long drawers with brass acorn and acorn leaf shaped drop handles and cut sheet brass escutcheons, raised on bracket feet, the whole decorated with quarter cut veneers, featherbanding and crossbanding; 100cm high, 96cm wide, 52cm deep
