AN OAK WAINSCOT CHAIR, 17th century and later, the arched cresting rail carved with stylised plant forms above a diamond carved back, downswept arms and planked seat, moulded seat rails on turned front legs
The back of the seat cresting has a large chip (cannot be seen from the front).
One back leg has what appears to be some light cracks - they do not go through the wood.
Old knocks to the legs.
Each arm has a patch in line with the upright.
Inner side of arm uprights are worn.
The seat sits low - height of seat is 37cm
