1856 (May 1) Cover from Nottingham to Adelaide, South Australia "to be left at the Post Office until called for", bearing embossed 6d, cut square with three margins, touched at top, unusually cancelled by "NOTTINGHAM / 583" sideways duplex in blue and tied by red "1d", "G.P.O / ADELAIDE S.A" datestamp (July 19) below, backstamped in Liverpool. A scarce and unusual coloured cancel on an embossed issue cover. Photo on Page 14.
