Taxidermy: “Jackalope” Head. A fine specimen of a Jackalope head and neck on wood shield. The jackalope is a mythical creature of North American folklore described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. The word jackalope is a portmanteau of jackrabbit and antelope. This example being a European Brown Hare with roe deer antlers and fox canine fangs.
This is a modern mount, in very good condition.
