An early 20th century circa 1930s French inspired gilt wood torchere stand. The torchiere having a foliate decorated top over a central carved & hand painted section with fruit & foliage. Scrolling acanthus leaves below on a tapering column. Raised on a scrolled tripod feet. Measures approx. 145cm tall x 40cm in diameter.
