A LATE 19TH CENTURY GILT GESSO OVERMANTEL MIRROR. the shaped upright rectangular plate within beaded and deep gadrooned frame with open scroll and flower cresting, 174cm maximum height x 110cm maximum width.
Some shrinkage to the gesso, some of the gilt rubbed to the bole, original gilding, small losses, one 3cm section missing from the right hand edge.
