£85
A small 20th century celluloid brisé fan with a faint design of dancers, the lower guard printed with “Souvenir A. Tuschinski”; together with a young girl’s bi-coloured feather fan, the monture of faux tortoiseshell, the guards a lighter shade, the upper guard incised with “Der Kaisserhof, Berlin” height approx. 20cm; together with a wooden fan with cockade leaf, olive wood, of the type produced in Sorento, Italy, with a mirror to one side and a red bird to the other; and a selection of 7 Chinese tourist fans, to include one with paper leaf depicting a peacock with extended tail (11)
The celluloid loop is mostly lacking. The feather fan requires re-stringing. The cockade works well but lacks the bottom draw-string; the Chinese fans are in unused condition.
