Walter Goodall "feeding the calf" watercolour Dated 1866 and signed. Walter goodall 1830-1889 figure, domestic and coastal painter, brother of two other well known artists, born in london and died at clapham near bedford. Only painted in watercolour and exhibits included several at the royal society of painters in watercolour, to which he was elected in 1861. His works were generally figure subject, often idealised peasants.
