A 1950s Philips Challenge table globe - scale 1:37,500,000, 13½ in diameter, on a chrome meridian arc to a walnut base with compartment beneath containing a Philips Record Atlas, dated 1956, 45 cm high.
* Condition: Good overall. Some pitting to the chrome arc and some small nicks scuffs to the join between the gores at the equator. A few small scratches. The edges of the gores have slight toning (pale brown discolouration). The atlas spine is sunned and the head and tail of the spine are worn.
