Terry's York - an Edwardian novelty confectionary tin. in the form of a George III burr yew work box, hinged domed cover printed in polychrome with a suitor serenading two young ladies with a violin, within a rectangular panel, batwing paterae to angles, the sides with courting musicians, shell paterae to recto and verso, Greek key borders, pressed tin clasp, inscribed to verso of cover, 17cm high, 26.5cm wide 19cm deep c.1905; An early 20th century rectangular confectionery tin, in the form of a George III mahogany work box, the 'quarter veneered' top centred by an oval batwing patera, 6cm high, 16cm wide, 11.5cm deep, c.1920;A late Victorian/Edwardian novelty tin, in the form of a George III canted rectangular tea caddy, flowerhead finial, printed with oval shell paterae and outlined with 'boxwood and ebony stringing', 12.5cm high, 14cm wide, 11cm deep, c.1900 (3)
