An uncut and unmounted fan leaf, 19th century, printed in black and hand coloured on faces and limbs, marked in the gorge space “B, No. 301” and perhaps “Pomel Sr 1818”, the figures wearing classical robes, next to water, with a boat about to leave, perhaps Telemachus being urged by Mentor to leave the island of Calypso, after a painting by Charles Meynier (see Cleveland Museum of Art collections)
