A pair of Staffordshire shepherd and shepherdess figures in Scottish Highland dress, circa 1850, Scottish shepherd figure holding a crook and pigskin water carrier, modelled with kilt, sporran and tartan sash, together with shepherdess figure, both stand upon naturalistic ovoid gilt-lined bases upon which lie a pair of sheep, 28.5cm high (2).
