TAXIDERMY - a small wading bird, mounted in a bow-front case, case height 26.5cm, a pair of small mounted horns, and a small mounted fish tail with a plaque for R.H.P. Bisterne 18 1/2lb April 7th 1918 (3)
No specific label to cased bird - maker's etc. However, a small piece of tape with the hand written note 'little auk', also a newspaper cutting with narrative and title surrounding 'Navy contracts for Fresh beef', no date, does not appear to relate to the bird.
