George III gilt verge pocket watch by W Retlaw (?), London, circa 1770, white enamelled dial, the movement viewed through an oculus, finely pierced back plate, signed and numbered 2219, tapered square baluster pillars, 44mm diameter; also a further George III verge pocket watch, with a gold studded leather clad outer case, silver inner case, hallmarked London 1786, enamelled dial with painted centre featuring a quayside, the back plate signed 'John Wilders, London', 47mm diameter (2)

Retlaw: There is no outer case to the watch. The inner case is in good condition as is the dial. Currently ticks when wound.
2nd watch: Outer case worn and with losses to the leather and stud work. Inner case has dents and some creases and a repair around the stem. Dial shows multiple cracks. Currently ticks when wound.
