A pair of William and Mary style armchairs, late 19th century, each with an upholstered arched back extending to out swept scrolled arms enclosing a bespoke cushion seat, over the shaped and tasselled apron, upon lobed and turned walnut front legs and plain back swept rear legs united by a curved and moulded cross stretcher, 120cm high (at fault)

First chair; has some play in the back rest, evidence of worm in the top of the RH front leg and historic worm in the under frame, chips, marks and scuffs to the legs, some play in the cross stretcher joints, general stains, marks and fading to the fabric.
Second chair; evidence of worm in the front RH leg, with historic worm in the underframe, the underframe has a split running down one side of the chair.
Metal bracket applied to the underside of the cross stretcher, along with minor splits and play in the joints.
The chair has some play in the leg and stretcher joints, with multiple light stains, marks and fading to the fabric
