A rare William IV silver castle top card case, die stamped with Newstead Abbey and to the reverse with a portrait of George Gordon Byron, Lord Byron and pierced with flowers and leafy scrolls, the sides similarly engraved, 9 x 6cm, by Taylor & Perry, Birmingham, 1835, 91mm.

Unusual segment on cover and base, with different decoration and slightly lower than surrounding area?? Overall condition is otherwise good.
