A WWII inflatable life jacket, with fastening straps, attachments, inflation tube and "Auxiliary Cylinder To Be Used in Emergency Only", maker's coloured Union Flag logo "MJM Marine Developments. Aqua Lift. Mk III", and stamps WD with broad arrow, "Insp.1942" and "HMS 311"; with photostat details of "HMS P311...a T class submarine.... joined the 10th Submarine Flotilla at Malta in November 1942, and was lost with all hands between 30th December 1942 and 8 January 1943 whilst on route to La Maddalena, Sardinia...". GC and evidently unissued (some storage creases, cracks and small worn patches), together with a pair of rubberized goggles with maker's stamp. GC
