1794 (June 30) Entire letter from Kilkenny to Dublin with "KILKENNY" handstamp, "FREE" obliterated by an inspectors crown, manuscript "2" to indicate that a second letter was enclosed, handstamped "TREBLE POSTAGE" (DCh2) and charged 3/-. Tears to the address panel, still a good looking example of this rare handstamp, just five examples recorded. Photo on Page 40.
