A Chinese famille rose bowl, Qing, late 18th century, the interior painted with Budai and a young boy, the exterior with panels of figures meeting a dignitary, ladies on horseback with attendants and deities, within a gilt foliate scrolling border, beneath a gilt rim, 26cm dia, 11cm high

Condition report: An oversprayed section disguising an 8.5cm hairline crack. A small fingernail size patch repair beneath a banner. A partially erased dragon in clouds above a deity. Regardless of the crack it still rings out nicely.
