An original ink and wash on paper painting titled "Dun Laoire" by the artist Fergal McCabe and dated to 1979. Features a delicate study of the neoclassical architecture of Dun Laoghaire. Fergal McCabe is a native of Tullamore, and is a member of Watercolour Society of Ireland. He has in recent years attempted to resurrect the Capriccio, which is a composition of real or imaginary architecture in a picturesque or dramatic setting. McCabe has a good auction history, with a similar work selling at Whyte's for €290.
