EARLY COVERS EX HAITI TO FRANCE WITH BORDEAUX ENTRY MARKS: 21 Apr. 1784 EL from Port au Prince to Marseille via Bordeaux. Delivered by the Colonial post of J-P Loliot and having a small, curved "COLONIES" mark in red alongside a fine Fleur de Lys over "B" mark of the grand post for Bordeaux. Also 1788 EL from Haiti to Le Havre with large s/l "JEREMIE" town mark and a small, circular "COL.BORDX." arrival mark. (2 covers)
