A Mappin Brothers silver plated tea and coffee service, presented to Superintendent Codfrey of the Metropolitan Police, October 1894, decorated in the French taste with be-ribboned laurel swags and carved ebonised wood pineapple finials and handles, comprises: teapot, coffee pot, milk jug and two handled sugar bowl, registered design mark to base, retailers mark in full, 31cm high max approx 2KG total weight.
