A mid-Victorian French four-glass mantel clock having an eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with a double-tube mercury pendulum, the ivorine dial having Arabic numerals, blued-steel fleur-de-lys hands and a decorative gilded centre, the cast-brass four-glass case having squared columns with fluting and ribbing, cast finials with matching feet, with cast-brass rococo and floriate panels to the base and top, height 31cm.
