A late Victorian 'Leg o' Mutton' gun case, of leather construction, the interior with central division for stock & fore end, and 32" (maximum) barrels. The lid stamped 'Braddell Est 1811 Belfast' (Joseph Braddell & Sons.) Fitted with a brass lock. Approx. 33" long. Together with a similiar example with provision for 30" barrels (2)
