British Tulwar Pattern made Cockburn and co, hilt marked 2/7, This has an 1821 light cavalry pattern Sword hilt on a Indian style blade British made for Indian Cavalry, R58 on the hilt referring to rack no. The blade resembles the 1796 early British cavalry style as this is what the Indian troopers preferred and used along with their Tulwar's until the British standardized their swords.
