Fees

A large quantity of unframed plans and architectural drawings relating to Fonthill New Abbey, built by the 2nd Marquis of Westminster between 1852 and 1859 and designed by William Burn in the Scottish baronial style. The house was later demolished in 1955.

More Information

There are thirty two plans and all have been rolled in a single roll and look like they have been gathering dust for many years. They are quite grubby overall (more so to the edges) and the edges of the (thick) paper have various small tears and rips. There is no writing to any apart from the writing to the images 2-4.
