The Maserati Coupé is a true four-seater capable of comfortably seating two adults in the back. The Spyder is a soft-top convertible that is electronically operated by a pushbutton on the center console. The top automatically stows beneath a hard cover that sits flush with the body in front of the boot. Arch-type roll bars are provided behind each seat.
In 2003 the Spyder got a glass rear window instead of the standard plastic one, and in late 2004 both the Coupé and Spyder underwent a very slight facelift. This meant a new, larger grille with its lower edge pulled lower into the lower lip of the front bumper. The new grille also features horizontal bars, while the 1963 style oval Maserati logo was now mounted on the C-pillars, and a new air outlet featured on the lower rearmost sides.
Maserati 4200 Cambiocorsa Spyder, in silver metallic paint, with Nero leather interior. This is one of only 300 of these cars that are believed registered in the U.K. The car come with all the usual refinements which include Skyhook suspension and sport button, climate control, and 18" alloy wheels. The Hi-Fi has been upgraded to include Apple CarPlay and Google Maps Sat Nav. The car was fitted with new clutch plates, release bearing and flywheel only 500 miles ago, and the brakes have been completely overhauled.
The car comes with full main dealer service history from new, extensive paperwork all MoT's, and two keys. The vendor stated that the car appears to be completely rust-free underneath, with the sub frame and floor pans all recently treated with 'Krown' protection. A Larini exhaust system has been fitted, and a new Mohair hood. A tailored indoor car cover and MAZ number plate are included in the sale. The car drives beautifully and has been maintained regardless of cost. This is a reluctant sale of appreciating asset.
