Elise Konstantin-Hansen (1858-1946) renowned feminist Danish artist and ceramicist who has been globally exhibited including the Copenhagen Women's Exhibition in 1895 and the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893. This is an oil on canvas of sea birds with beach and rushes, monogrammed lower right EKH 1891, her name in full written on back of frame (unsure of application date), 22 3/4" x 14", original wood pegged frame (minor paint flake on beak of one bird, the canvas has become baggy and the picture requires cleaning)
