RARE UNDATED GREEN FALMOUTH "MALTA/F" MARK WITH MATCHING BOXED GREEN "½" ON COVER TO G.B.; Attractive 23 May 1838 EL from "Argos" (Greece) to Edinburgh but sent via Malta and so having a mainly very fine rare undated "MALTA/F" marking on the top flap with a matching very fine green boxed "½" (Scottish Mail Tax) mark nicely placed on the front. The contents refer to the ongoing problems of "King Otho" of Greece (the Bavarian Prince who was made King in 1815). Exhibition Quality.
