33 1/4 inch, rifled, blued barrel. Front blade sight and rear ladder sight. Blued, flat side action marked with crowned "VR" over 'BSA & M Co 1878". Falling block action operated by the lower lever. Steel trigger guard. Polished wooden butt with traces of maker's stamp. Steel butt plate. Polished wooden forend secured by steel barrel bands. The front one with bayonet bar. Steel end cap. Steel ramrod. Together with a well fitting P1879 Martini socket bayonet complete with brass mounted leather scabbard. 2 items
