Victorian / Edward VIII Infantry Pattern Sword. An interesting example, possible a family sword used by an Officer of the Indian Army. The blade retailed through Rob Mole & Sons of Birmingham and etched with a crowned VR cypher. The infantry pattern guard is decorated with a crowned EVIIIR cypher, enclosing a shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Complete with heavy brown leather scabbard with steel throat and chape mounts. Blade retains in good clean condition, some age wear to the leather of the scabbard.
