A pair of Chinese famille rose tureens and covers for the English market with the arms of Kenyon impaling Kenyon, Qianlong

Description:

L.: 19 cm - H.: 13,5 cm

The motto 'Magnanimiter Crucem Sustine' is also that of Kenyon College, a private liberal arts college in Gambier, Ohio. It was founded in 1824 by Philander Chase. The original Kenyon family owned Peel Hall in Lancashire.
