A walnut bureau-cabinet, with ogee moulded cornice and glazed doors above candle slides, the flap in matched burr veneers enclosing straight fitted interior above single central loper and two short and three graduated drawers with brass handles, bracket feet, 213cm h; 56 x 100cm
Made up in probably the later 19th or early 20th c incorporating some earlier veneers and elements. Flap with shrinkage cracks and repairs, small losses to mouldings, brass handles old replacements, feet also replaced, pleasing old colour and patina
