Military Interest - Framed Telex on the Surrender of Germany During The Second World War. This interesting and unique item is a telex message sent to the US Army liberators at the St Valerie Camp. Captain James Moonie - who used an alias when he was a prisoner of war, Bob Lundie - was captured and marched from Dunkirk to Poland. As the highest ranking prisoner in the camp, he was taken to the US Officer, who gave him the telex, which he kept and brought back to Scotland. He was evacuated from Dunkirk, and survived the ordeal, winning a Bravery Medal. James Moonie lived into his 80's with his family in Scotland. This is the original telex, framed.
