1891-98 pair of registered covers addressed to Germany.  Cover to Munich franked by 1r.12 on 2r.50 dull rose (perf 12½x14) tied by duplex, registered cds in red and ‘R’ oval h/s, backstamped by Colombo d/s and German arrival; the second item with 1898 1r.12 dull rose on 10c registered envelope tied by duplex and Colombo registered cds in red, backstamped by assorted despatch, transit and arrival marks, mixed condition, otherwise fine, scarce and interesting frankings.
