A German porcelain Capodimonte style large jug 19th century, bearing Meissen Marcolini period style blue crossed swords mark, of tapered cylindrical form with Bacchus mask lip, decorated with two raised female figures and a putto with a large mask, within a framework of trailing vines, the handle of open entwined branches surmounted by a fox, 33cm. high.
