A FIRST WORLD WAR TRIO AND PLAQUE TO THE NEWZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. A Great War Trio comprising 1914-15 Star named to 8/3311 Pte J. Laurie N.Z.E.F., the War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named, the plaque James Laurie. Private James Laurie was born on the 7th June 1884 at Inverkeithing Scotland. He served with the 2nd Battalion of the Otago Regiment. He was killed in action aged 32 on the 24th March 1917 and is buried at St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery, Belgium. He left a brother John Laurie of 26 Queen St Inverkeithing, Fife, Scotland. Sold with photograph of his headstone and an album of extensive research. *CR Condition good. A lot fee of £8 inc.
