A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH AND AN ALBERT CHAIN, key wound, round white dial, Roman numerals, blue steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial at the six o'clock position (missing subsidiary hands), polished case with a worn vacant cartouche, inside case back hallmarked 'Henry Buckland' London 1868, movement signed 'J.H.Mercer Appleby 9646', approximate case width 51.5mm, fitted with a graduated silver albert chain each link stamped with a sterling mark, sponsors mark 'HB&S' fitted with two lobster clasps and T-bar, also suspending an oval fob medal inscribed 'The Crested Canary Club' hallmarked 'J.A.R' Birmingham, length of albert chain 400mm, approximate gross weight 188.5 grams, with watch key (condition report: watch ticking at time of cataloguing, time keeping untested, general wear, worn cartouche, missing hands on the subsidiary dial)
