Features am Irish nautical scene in a quaint town. Rendered in a soft colour palette with blues, greens and browns with mustard yellow highlights. Portrays emotive use of color and brushstrokes skillfully attuning to capture the soft and ever-changing Irish light. Housed in an ornate gilt frame. Signed lower left. Titled to verso.
William Henry Burns is a well known artist with works fetching into the hundreds at Whyte's.

A Belfast born artist, Burns received no formal art training. He painted regularly along the Lagan and in Connemara, Antrim and Donegal. During his career Burns had three solo exhibitions in the gallery formerly run by E. Walker & Co., Coleraine, and is represented in the UTV Art Collection.
