A WWII German 6½in. radius Kriegsmarine sextant by C. Plath, Hamburg, c.1943, the ebonised alloy W-pattern frame with arc signed and divided to 125º, trade mark to left, numbered '23139' to right, vernier with micrometer adjustment, index arm with Kriegsmarine emblem and number '7522', universal telescope with leatherette covering, seven shades, two mirrors and hollowed Bakelite handle, contained within fitted pine box with alloy handle, emblems removed. 31.7cm.
