A good 18th-century carved wood and gilt gesso rectangular rococo wall mirror with overarching leafy cresting the frame taking the form of pierced rocaille scrolls and vines of hanging fruit and flowers. The replacement shallow bevelled plate with pleasing signs of age. 78 cm overall width x 141 cm overall height x 15 cm depth of cresting from the wall.
Private estate
The frame is basically period as stated but has been re-gilded The plate is probably a later but sympathetic replacement
