A PAIR OF PORCELAIN SEATED SULTAN AND SULTANA FIGURINES, JACOB PETIT, FRANCE, 19TH CENTURY The figurines depict a seated Sultan and Sultana, both elegantly dressed in richly colored, elaborately patterned robes. The Sultan is portrayed with a majestic presence, donning a green and gold robe, and holding a hookah. His turban is painted in pastel tones, complementing his luxurious clothing. The Sultana, seated gracefully, wears a stunning pink and yellow robe adorned with intricate floral patterns, holding a delicate bird in her hand, further emphasizing her refined elegance.

Both figurines are seated on cushions that are as intricately decorated as their clothing, featuring a repeating floral motif. The bases of the figurines bear the "J.P." mark.
