scarlet melton cloth, double breasted, short bodied tailcoat. Dark blue, high collar with bullion embroidery oak leaves and acorn. Guards pattern cuffs with similar bullion embroidery decoration. Gilt, General Officer buttons (some absent). Tails with white turn backs and bullion embroidery wreath with central crossed batons. Some traces of various changes. Lining partly replaced. Some exterior stains.
