A Chinese porcelain brush pot, bitong, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, decorated in underglaze blue with six figures within an extensive continuous mountainous landscape and river scene, double line border to rim and lower edge, double cobalt blue ring mark to base, a/f hairline crack, 17 by 15cm high, with a pierced and carved fitted wooden stand, on five feet, 17 by 4.5cm high. (2) Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
