A large 19th-century lacquered brass skeleton clock with original dome Signed on the frame Gardner, Cateaton St. Manchester The elaborate scroll frame united by four pillars and surmounted by the bell, mounted on a grey-veined white marble base, the 6.5 inch skeletonised Roman dial and blued-steel foliate hands, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement striking the hour on the bell, together with the large original glass dome (49cms high), pendulum and brass key. 51cm high
