A Regency Period mahogany and oak cased 8-day striking longcase clock, the hood with swan-neck pediment, gilt eagle finial and baluster pilasters, the arched painted dial with celestial moon phase, subsidiary second dial and date aperture, the trunk with marquetry inlay depicting a stag, above an inlaid stepped plinth base. Dial measures 12”. Total height 7’10” (238cm). Includes both weights and pendulum.
H238cm W61cm D25cm (approx).
Condition report: Trunk is sun bleached. Heat expansion crack to base.
