A good 19th century walnut military secretaire chest, housing a central mahogany lined secretaire section with fitted interior, flanked by two short above two long oak-lined drawers with recessed brass handles, on turned supports. The chest divides into two sections. C1870.

Condition report: Various marks and deep patina with age and use. Heat expansion cracks to one side. Feet appear to be later. Top of base section with carved crow’s foot mark.
