Both vases and covers with areas of fritting and losses to glaze, particularly along ridged lines and edges. One of the vases has a chip to the rim and a hairline crack around an inch long. The same vase has several foot rim chips and general discolouration to glaze. The cover for this vase is chipped to the underside in several places, the bird has lost the top section of its tail and has various losses, discolourations and marks to glaze. The other vase is in similar condition with foot rim chips, dicolouration to glaze, general dirt and small chips to rim. No cracks. The cover for this vase has small chips to glaze and also is generally discoloured. Both vases appear to be free of restoration.
