*An unusual 1960s modified Gibson SG electric guitar that can only have started life as an SG Junior or an SG Special model. Whilst the pickup cavities under the guard would suggest that this was originally a single pickup guitar, the control cavity does not look to have been adapted/enlarged to house extra pots and switch. Evidence under the guard suggests that this guitar originally had a wraparound stop bar only with no evidence to the front of the body that there was also a vibrato in place. The earliest dating part of the guitar is the one 1965 potentiometer, the serial number suggests a date of 1969 and the later pickups which date to 1972.
Many scratches, dings and marks throughout of various degrees of severity. Frets are worn but still very playable with some smell indents in and around the 1st to 5th fret position. Would require setup to preference. The embossed pickup in the neck position is just a bridge pickup rotated to neck orientation. Please see further images for guidance on wear and condition.
